 Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Grant
|
  On July 21st, the Humane Society was awarded a $20,000 grant to help reduce the amount of
unwanted pets.
If you are resident of Levy County and can
provide proof that you are receiving one of the following: Medicaid,
Food Stamps, SSI, WIC or another form of assistance, we encourage
you to apply for our program.
 ~Please Note~ If you have mailed an application, we will be contacting you either by phone or mail to continue our efforts. Private donations and fundraising will help continue this program throughout
the October 2011 - October 2012 year. If you would like to donate, please call 352-486-5705. |
Donation Cans |
New donations to be distributed throughout Levy County. ALL DONATIONS from these cans will be placed into our shelter account. Currently, these donations are utilized for the purchase of
flea control, vaccines, heart worm tests and feline tests which are all used on the animals that are located at the Levy County Animal Services to help those animals get adopted. Due to the economy and loss of donations, this will
be phased out as of November 2011. All donations will be utilized for Low/Cost Spay Neuter from October 2011 thru October 2012 as funding is raised. For more information on how you can help, please
